Eurice is a research and project management office (SME), founded in the year 2000 in Saarbruecken. It has since become one of the largest EU-project management offices in Germany offering comprehensive support to scientists and innovative companies for planning & implementation of international R&D and educational projects. 35 experts with divers scientific & non-scientific backgrounds provide primary advice and support in all project phases encompassing
i) possible funding sources & grant writing,
ii) legal advice in the context of international collaboration including contract negotiations & IPR issues
iii) administrative & management support (financial monitoring, reporting, conflict management, contingency planning, dissemination & exploitation of results).
In addition Eurice engages in innovation-related initiatives of the DG Enterprise & Industry (e.g. Enterprise Europe Network, IPR-Helpdesk).
Key competences and facilities
Eurice will provide complementary training courses in the network-training event 4 & the network-training event 5. Up to the current day the company has been involved in the coordination and/or administration of > 80 EU-funded projects, as a management, dissemination and/or training partner, with an overall budget of over 250 million Euros.
Jörg Scherer, CEO, is an active member of national and European research management working groups and evaluator of EU research and education programs.
Dr. Vera Schneider
Dr V. Schneider, is highly experienced in the administration & management of European RTD projects. As a Life Science researcher she has been involved in EU-funded projects since 2001 and is presently working as Senior Project Manager at Eurice.
